Statistics Relating to Women’s and Health
The lack of sleep is linked to type 2 diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and depression (CDC)
Black women have the highest rates of obesity or being overweight compared to other groups in the United States (OMH).
Only one in three Black adults with mental illness receive treatment (NAMI). 
Among Hispanic American women, 78.8 % are overweight or obese (OMH).
45.2% of women aged 20 and over have high blood pressure and/or taking anti blood pressure medication (CDC)

A Public Health and Kinesiology professional, with over 13 years of experience in the community wellness, corporate health, and fitness industry.

I decided to combine my years of experience, expertise, and education from the public health and corporate health sector. I intend to pour my innovation and health solutions back into my community who need it the most, to the women who look like me, to serve as a creative catalyst and improve the well-being, health status and increase health equality.
